Rob Duffy

My mission is to help young people see their true potential, raise them up to believe in themselves, and help them become unstoppable forces in the world. I am a Personal & Business Coach, Leadership Guidance Coordinator, and board member of two organisations.

Changing career in 2013, from working a secure job for 15 years which didn’t satisfy an inner desire, to finishing a Hons BSc degree and setting up Life Choice Solutions embarking on this transformational coaching work with clients, I know what it feels like to be less than satisfied by the direction one’s life is going in.

I realised that ‘nobody was coming to save me’ and that if I wanted to achieve personal freedom and happiness, I was going to have to step out of the comfort zone.

I made the decision to leave my old job in 2011 and set a list of goals to be achieved to make the transition from where I was to where I am going now.

This is what I help my clients with all the time.

I completed my undergraduate degree in 2013 in Social Sciences (with Psychology) and became accredited with the Irish Lifecoach Institute in early 2015.

I also graduated from the Innovation Academy in University College Dublin (UCD) in 2015 having studied Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Enterprise.

I am also a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner having completed my accreditation at the Institute for Health Sciences in Dublin.

I have worked with Aware as a volunteer on their Life Skills Programme which facilitates clients who are suffering with depression or anxiety.

On the programme the client works through a CBT based programme to identify areas in their lives where their thoughts, behaviours and feelings are originating and with new awareness the client can attempt to bring themselves some new insights and to cope better, hopefully overcoming ingrained patterns of negative thinking.

I continue to work with individuals from all over the world who wish to make changes, moving forward and reaching their goals.

I help clients towards improved performance, the creation of time management protocols and planning and scheduling procedures, adjustment and removal of unhelpful values and beliefs, motivation and also procrastination issues, where they show up in the clients lives.

By holding a space in 1-2-1 coaching sessions, where clients can be held accountable to themselves and the objectives they outline, client growth can be phenomenal over a relatively short space of time and hugely gratifying to help enable.

I work with clients around the globe with the help of internet which opens access to people around the world who can also be impacted by my style of coaching.

I also have a passion for freedom and liberty and in 2016, I became a board member of European Students for Liberty and took the role of Regional Director on Ireland, United Kingdom & Benelux regions.

This is a classical liberal/libertarian NGO which aims to educate, empower and develop young people to become the future leaders and innovators of the world.

I am also a part-time musician and play guitar and sing. You can check my YouTube channel here
